Oxford, AL to Alachua, FL
It is nice to plan a route home that is a destination in it's self. Like I said earlier we left the Natchez Trace by Franklin, TN. With
the maps I put up, this is the route we took as far as I can remember. The one road that I think of on this trips is Hwy 156. I did
enjoy this highway. Lookout Mountain Parkway was also a neat ride. We realized after we got home, it would be a nice trip just
to concentrate around Lookout Mountain area. DeSoto State Park we only stopped for a quick break. So we really did not check
it out. Providence Canyon was very unusual, erosion is what made this park. There did not seem to be much more to check out
around that area. This was a quick trip, so I did not look for much when planning the trip for this area. Weather was not a
problem this time, I did at times wish it would have rained a little. It was hot the last 2 days home. Well until next
