Lake City loop
After we made Our Back Yard, I wanted another trip that we could do quickly. Our Back Yard is around 80 miles. That makes it great if you
haven't made it ridding during the week. You can leave at five in the afternoon (after work) and be back by seven in the evening. Lake City
Loop, is about 140 miles. This takes about 3 hours, add another hour to eat, and gas stops. (This changed matters, this is more of a weekend
ride), It took us longer, but we were in exploring mode. This trip dose use a couple of roads that are on Our Back Yard trip. Heading North on
ride), It took us longer, but we were in exploring mode. This trip dose use a couple of roads that are on Our Back Yard trip. Heading North on
road to speed on, but it is paved. Central connects to HWY 49, which is a main road. Leaving HWY 49 onto 144 Terrace which has a lot of 137
and making a left on Central, had me guessing what lies ahead. Central is an old road, rough in some places, definitely in the country, not a
curves, is a small road in good condition. 114 Terrance turns into Low Lake Rd which intersects with 90 & 10 in the town of Wellborn. If you
make a right on 90 there is a convince store about a mile up the road on the right. When leaving the convince store Hwy 137 is at the east end
of the parking lot. Make a left go across Hwy 90 and Hwy 250 is just a mile or two on the right. HWY 250 is more of a major Hwy still a country
road. When we got into Lake City we ventured off of our route to eat on Hwy 90. After eating we headed west on Hwy 90 and made a right on
Avalon Ave, and continued on our route. I will in the future make a map of Our Back Yard 2 with the new roads from this trip. Just to have
another route for a two hour trip. Get Out and Ride.... Michel
I am pretty sure this is
where we ate at.  I like
volume, and the food
was pretty good.
