This is a nice ride. This trip was posted on Let's Ride Gainesville.  We have the map (Google Map) of the trip linked up
above, click on it to see our route.  This video is almost a year old, I filmed it January 2012, and we just completed the
same rout last week December 28th, 2012 to Blue Springs.  Blue Springs State Park is only 10.2 miles from Swamp House
Grill.    There will be a few pictures below, and a clip  of Blue Springs above.
Hwy 42 and US 19 is a great stop for gas and a break.  Also it is very large so you can accommodate a lot of bikes too.
We are always cutting up and having fun.  Here still at Hwy 42 & 19 taking a break and talking about…… everything.
This is the Swamp House Grill.  The food was great; the view was very pleasant to your eyes.  The marina just adds to it with the St. Johns
River.  The whole time there you can hear the one man band playing.  You just wish this was a little closer to home so you could stay longer.
Years back Marcia and I have been past here many a times heading to Hontoon Island for the weekend on our boat on the St. Johns.  Loved
the name of our old boat, Dock Knocker II, with that name soon as I turned the stern to face my birth, and everyone read the name,
everybody was willing to help me dock.  I can imagine he is docking next my boat…….  What happened to Dock Knocker I?
This is Blue Springs State Park located in Orange City, FL.   There are usually 100’s of manatees swimming here.  But remember this is
only in the winter time, the springs stays about 73 degrees , which is warm when the temperature drops into the 50’s etc… The manatee
love it, and it is warm to them.  Also we arrived on a Friday afternoon just after Christmas and we had to wait in line with our bikes.  They
did let us park on the grass so we did not have to go all the way down the dirt road and turn around and get in line.   The wait wasn’t more
than 20 minutes, but remember this was on a Friday, not Saturday, so you may want to call first.
The water is crystal clear.  You can see all kinds of fish and manatees too.

Ed & Karen on the left and Michel & Marcia on the right , don't know the manatee's name in the middle.  Be sure to check out the links
above.   I usually post this on different forums so if any question I will answer on that forum, If you did not find this on a forum you can
click on our forum below.   On our way home we took a quicker route.  Hope to see you on the road sometime…
